Yin & Tonic: Overwhelm and the edges you hold

Yin & Tonic: Overwhelm and the edges you hold

You hold a lot. For your family, your team, the people who depend on you. And somewhere in managing all of it, you've learned to keep yourself small. You've built edges around what you'll let yourself feel, need, or say. Those edges keep things steady on the surface. But they also keep you trapped, running on empty, unable to access the steadiness and aliveness you actually need.

In October's Yin & Tonic, we're looking at overwhelm and the edges you hold. Why you built them, what they're costing you, and what becomes possible when you learn to soften them without everything falling apart. You'll get practical techniques you can use straight away, and a chance to notice what's really going on inside you when the demands pile up. This is thirty minutes of time for just you, not another thing on your to-do list.

Free, online via Zoom. Last Thursday of October, 7pm to 7.30pm UK time. Come as you are.

Meet Carolyn... Educator - Mentor - Trauma-Sensitive Practitioner

I created Harmoniance for people who know something in their health or life isn’t quite right.

People who are exhausted, overwhelmed, or living with symptoms that never seem to fully resolve — yet still trying to keep up with the demands of work and life.

Many are professionals or business leaders carrying constant pressure.
Or women who have been carrying too much, for too long.

Others are navigating chronic health challenges or more serious illness, including the privilege I have of supporting people living with cancer.

For years I lived in cycles of burnout, depression and chronic health problems that conventional approaches couldn’t resolve.

Everything changed when I stopped chasing symptoms and began restoring the deeper systems that regulate health.

By working at the level of energy, emotions and unresolved stress held in the body, I was able to recover from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression and burnout

Now I use everything I’ve learned — personally and professionally — to help others rebuild the foundations of their health and build the skills to regulate and rebuild their inner environment, so they have the capacity to live and work well again.

My approach blends ancient wisdom with modern science to support lasting change across the whole human system.

Whether I’m working with individuals or organisations, my focus is simple:
Restoring health. Creating capacity. Helping people live and work well again.
